Singapore to contribute $75,000 to South India

The Singapore Government will commit US$75,000 as seed contribution to the Singapore Red Cross’ South India Floods 2015 public appeal, following devastating floods in Chennai and other parts of Tamil Nadu.  Singapore Minister of Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan said he was saddened by hundreds of lives lost and disrupted due to the severe flooding in South India.
